Are your pouches recyclable?
Standard pouch materials can be recycled through specialist contractors. Fully PE or PP pouches are available and can be widely recycled in the UK.
Can you supply artwork templates for pouches?
Yes, we can. Please ask and we will get one created for your specified size. Call 01277 281930 or email sales@bakpac.co.uk
Are there a range of different zippers available?
We have a range of zippers including: press-to-seal (zip lock), velcro, child safety, compostable, mono lock and multi-close. If you have a specific requirement, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. To learn more about our zipper options and other additional features, check out our blog.
Can you supply compostable pouches?
Yes, we can but materials are very specialist. End use and design need careful consideration so please do get in touch if you have a compostable project.
Do you have a minimum order quantity?
Our MOQ is 500 pouches per design. If the pouch has embellishments (spot varnish or cold foil), the MOQ is 2,500. For MONO spouted pouches the MOQ is 5000 and for printed film jobs it is 2500 impressions.
Can I request samples of your products?
Yes, please request a sample ideally with some background information regarding the usage of the packaging. You can also request a full sample pack

What colour management system do you use for packaging design?
At Bakpac, we use the GMG Color Management system to ensure precise colour accuracy across all our designs. This system allows us to maintain consistency in your brand colours, whether you’re using vibrant tones or subtle shades. Want to know more about the impact of colour? What is the lead time for pouches?
Our standard lead time for pouches is 7-10 working days from approval of artwork. For printed film it’s just 5-7 working days after approval. If you need some even faster than that we are always willing to help in an emergency. Higher volume orders and some spouted processes made need a slightly extended lead time.

What is the smallest stand up pouch you can make with a zipper?
135mm (h) x 80mm (h) with a 25mm Gusset.
What is the biggest stand up pouch you can make?
500mm (h) x 350mm (h) + 75mm Gusset.
What is the smallest pillow pouch/sachet you can make with a zipper?
Pillow pouch (with a zipper) is 110mm (h) x 80mm (w) and a sachet is 70mm (h) x 70mm (w). If you require a smaller size, contact us to discuss further customisation options.
What extras can we offer, i.e. - sequential numbers, data, any other?
We print digitally so can offer all the advantages this provides – variable numbers, barcodes, micro text, Smartstream Mosaic and Collage.
Can you match my brand colours for packaging?
